Appearance: Finn is a tall grown wizard with a lean frame covered with an unobtrusive layer of muscles. His hair colour varies from dirty blonde in the summer to a light brown in the winter and his hair tends to look a bit disheveled when he didn’t just cut it. Similar to his brother, his father’s genes provided him with a strong jaw, thin lips and unusually bright but warm brown eyes. He has a confident appearance, but holds himself in a casual, relaxed manner most of the time.
Personality: He fits the stereotype of the surfer almost perfectly. He doesn’t take life too seriously in general. Not that he’s naïve (anymore) or carefree. He just loves to push his boundaries, try new things even, or most of all, in the face of danger. One could think him addicted to the adrenaline rush he feels when daring to face his fears where he might have taken a run before. Maybe for this view of life it helps that he can’t be sad for too long. In consequence to this, the people surrounding him tend to feel better whenever he’s around, be it because of his jokes and occasional pranks or because of his view of life.

Character History: A few hours older than his twin Freya and a few years younger than his brother Dylan he had an almost idyllic childhood. Not only was he very close to his older brother despite their age difference, but he was as close to his twin as brother and sister can expected to be with her being a girl. All three of them often played together and created a close bond of affection and love among the siblings, which would be essential for one or the other of them later on.
Of course, coming from a pure blood family he accompanied his brother’s first trip to King’s Cross and consequently to his first departure to Hogwarts in the expectation of being allowed to follow him there in time. Jealously was ensured whenever Dylan came home for the holidays, but the twins still had each other so they could be happy for their brother as soon as they understood. This however got exceedingly difficult for Finn in the last years leading up to his eleventh birthday. Until only half a year before he turned eleven he had never showed any signs of magic at all. Where his siblings already were considered magic for sure, his parents began to fear he might be a squib. Even his easy temper couldn’t block out the worry in his parents’ eyes whenever they looked at him for long. Lucky for him that this period didn’t last very long or his character might have been damaged permanently.
Throughout their Hogwarts careers the siblings continued to stay close, even after Dylan left the school. Whenever both boys had time they took some time together to catch up properly as Finn tended to forget writing Dylan. And while Dylan was unable to, Finn took over his position and made sure to take care of Freya. Still he wasn’t able to do anything against the destructive relationship she entered in their fourth year. Sure he told her his opinion, tried to caution her, but the teenager who listens to advice when in love is yet to be born. So Finn was left to watch and suffer in silence with his sister. Therefore he first didn’t know about the break up and was on surfing vacation in France with Dylan when he should have been with his sister to comfort her. He felt terrible when they came home to find a broken girl instead of their feisty Freya and did everything to make her feel better. He swore then that he would take better care of her from now on, no matter the obstacles he had to face to do so.
In his seventh year Finn began dating his best friend of seven years, Sydney Wincster. If they’d been inseparable before, it was nothing to what they were then. They’re a quite touchy couple and can get on the nerves on those around them sometimes. After graduation the two moved in together in a small flat in Muggle London and Finn started working at the Ministry of Magic.
