Finn was glad his boss hadn't given him a hard time as he'd told him that he'd switched shifts with a co-worker so he could have the afternoon off. He was actually nervous enough for his taste that he didn't need an angry boss in addition to it. He'd dressed a bit better than usually and he'd put exceeding thought to the planning of the day. This should be perfect, he was determined. He wanted to show Sydney how much she meant to him and that he didn't want to let her go, ever. He was sure of his decision. Much more so than he'd thought he could ever be about anything.
The pocket of his cloak where he'd hidden the small box weighed heavily as he stepped out of the Ministry and apparated to Diagon Alley. - Still fifteen minutes to go until the end of Sydney's shift, or the end he had arranged. She might think she still had to stay at Madam Malkin's for two more hours. - Everything will be fine, he told himself again as he walked down Diagon Alley until the shop came in sight. He ran a hand through his hair again and controlled his breathing before he approached the building. He stepped inside, shrugging out of his cloak and holding it thrown over his shoulder. He didn't need to look around for long until he saw Sydney. "May I whisk you away, beautiful?" he asked in a low voice before he sent a quick look to her co-worker who had a hard time surpressing her grin as she knew exactly what was going on. He'd needed some alliance at her workplace to arrange for her to have the afternoon off.
