Character Name: Blake Potter
Age/School Year: 17/7th Year
Birthday: 17th July 2049
House Preference: Gryffindor
Appearance:
Blake is tall, standing at an impressive six foot one. He has slightly long dishevelled bronze coloured hair that he wears in a side parting with a fringe to one side. He has naturally tanned skin, from his mothers side of the family, and his tan darkens well in the Summer. He has a strong jawline and distinctive, yet attractive features. His eyes are a light hazel colour, framed by long dark eyelashes and distinctive eyebrows. He has a lean yet muscular physique, attained through years of playing Quidditch.
Personality:
Blake has somewhat arrogant tendencies that he gets from his father's side of the family. He has a somewhat sarcastic sense of humour, especially when it comes to his twin sister, Faith. Blake is very proud of his heritage and his placement in Gryffindor, and his pride is obvious to anyone that knows him. He can come across unfavourably to new people, but once a sense of comfort has been established in the relationship, Blake tends to reveal his true self. Behind the playboy facade, he can be sweet and kind and compassionate and also emotionally sensitive at times.
Character History:
Blake Potter, the first born of the twins, and therefore the oldest, always appeared to be a mirror image of his father, and his grandfather before him. Sorted into Gryffindor, he took great pride in sharing the same house as those several generations before him. He joined the Quidditch team in his third year at Hogwarts, finding his place as Seeker, similarly to his father and grandfather. Blake takes a lot of pride in being both a Potter and a Gryffinfor, and has a great sense of arrogance to show for it.
Now in his last year of Hogwarts, he is captain of the Quidditch team, and general Gryffindor playboy, choosing to play the field as opposed to settling down into a long term relationship. As he is growing older, he shows more differing traits to those he is descended from, becoming more his own person the older he gets.

Blake flew around the pitch a final time, leaning low over his broom, testing his control over his speed. He pulled back rapidly, steadying himself as he flew low to the ground, coming to an eventual halt before he dismounted his broom. He ran a hand through his already windswept and dishevelled hair and shouldered his broom, beginning the short walk back to the changing rooms at a slow pace. He liked to be out on the pitch alone sometimes, finding it all kinds of peaceful and therapeutic, away from the general hoards of girls that seemed to follow him around. Not that he minded, but being the grandson of the great Harry Potter was pressure enough without the attention of the entire wizarding world, or at least the entire female population of Hogwarts.
He put his broom away in the sheds, ensuring it was secure before heading towards the showers. He rubbed at his shoulder blades, trying to dissuade the growing tension between them, although he was sure a hot shower would do the same job. He did so slowly, methodically, going through the motions as though he was in a state of numbness, which he wasn't, but he was so used to this routine that it was second nature, now. Blake got out of the shower at something of a snails pace, putting off the pain of the sudden onslaught of cold air.
He eventually managed to leave the warm atmosphere of the shower room, moving to the changing room and shivering for a while as he dried off, before he got changed into normal clothes. He sat down on the bench to the far side of the changing room and let his head lean against the wall behind him, his eyes tracing the Gryffindor artwork on the opposite side of the room. Sometimes Blake hated being the person that he was, and other times, he was incessantly proud of it. Today was one of the days where the pressure of being not only the grandson of the late Boy Who Lived, but also the son of the Minister of Magic, was starting to get to him.
