Appearance:

Amelie has waist length caramel brown hair that falls in waves, framing her face. Her deep brown eyes are framed by perfectly groomed eyebrows, and set off by her slight tan skin. She is very petite, standing at a mere 5'3", but is usually found wearing high heels to make up for it. Amelie has a very slim physique, and has sometimes been criticised for being too slim. She has two tattoos, a floral affair on her right shoulder that follows the line of her collarbone and wraps around to her shoulder blade, and a similar one on her left hip that curls around her hip bone and down her thigh. 

Personality:

Amelie is not your typical 20 year old woman. She is young and almost in love, but constantly in a state of seeming vulnerability. Amelie is and always has been, a bit rebellious. She's a nice girl on the surface, and without knowing her, you'd think her the most innocent girl going, albeit she walks around not dressed in very much, it gives out the impression that she is trying to get people to think that she is a bad girl, but her disposition states otherwise. Once you get to know her, she is the best friend you could hope for, loyal and yet brutally honest. She'll give you a hug to cushion the blow but it won't stop her from telling you the truth. Amelie would do anything for her friends, if only she had a few more of them.

Character History:

Amelie is an only child, she had a happy childhood until she hit the teenage years, being a muggle born, she was unaware of her magical heritage until receiving her Hogwarts letter aged 11. When she got to 13 she became rather rebellious, and turned away from her parents in favour of her friends. Her parents didn't really know what to do with her and threw money at her in all shapes and forms in the hope that they could buy her respect, but Amelie saw it for what it really was and developed a strong dislike for her parents, which climaxed in her moving out aged 18 to live with her boyfriend, Xavier Weasley. During school, Amelie's first proper boyfriend had been Gabriel McRae, but it hadn't lasted long when she told her best friend Xavier that she was with him, and he responded by kissing her. It was soon after that that they admitted their feelings for each other and spent the last few weeks of school in a blissful state of happiness. After school they didn't see each other for a while but Amelie saw him in Diagon Alley and all but threw herself at him. They were together for a relatively long time before Xavier left following an accident at work. She spent a long time in a state of heartache before she met Elijah Chase at work and experienced something of a whirlwind romance.

Amelie was rushing around, as per normal. It seemed like there was never a quiet day at Mungos, no matter what day of the week it was. She couldn't say that she didn't like it though, it was like Amelie had been born to work in a hospital, and she absolutely loved her job, especially when it was successful. She obviously didn't like it when, unavoidably, someone passed away.

Amelie sighed as she headed back down to reception, she needed something that apparently her patient had told the receptionist, but was refusing to tell her. That was most likely the only thing that she found infuriating about her job, and that was the people that needed treating. Most of the time they were a pain in her ass, she much preferred it when they were unconscious, she had to admit.

Just as she was about to head around behind the reception counter she heard an 'pardon me' and thought for a second that she'd accidentally barged into someone on her way through. She turned to look at where the voice came from and saw a man accompanied by who must have been his daughters, one of which had an arm at a funny angle. She gave the little girl a smile before looking up at her Dad.

It wasn't really her department, but she decided that her patient could wait, as annoying as he was. She smiled a little brighter when the little one spoke too. Amelie remembered when she was that young, she certainly hadn't been as happy as these two appeared to be. Amelie laughed when the little girl said that she wanted a picture of it, "I'm sure we can do something about that sweetie," she said to her, still smiling to herself. "If you three want to follow me, I can get that all fixed up for you," she said, smiling once more before she turned around and headed back the way she came. She made a few turns until she ended up in the non-severe consultation wing. Amelie eventually found an empty room and opened the door, letting her patient and her family go in first.

"I'll be back in just a second, you three make yourselves comfortable," she said, poking her head around the door behind them, she needed to get a consent form as the little one was obviously underage, before she could do any such healing, and she also needed to find a camera from somewhere.
